I’ve been receiving a lot of questions about how do you know if your product is good or not. Well first in this economy if your finding that your sales are low, it might not be that your product is bad., it might be just be that it’s just a slow economy. The problem could also be your price, offer, or copy. But worse come to worse, let’s say your product isn’t as good as you could possibly want it, you can tweak it and then see better sales results and more satisfied customers.

How do you tweak your product, you ask? Well, you tweak the features and benefits of the product, you have to tweak them to what the customer wants. Usually, a great thing to do if you sense your product isn’t being received well by your market is to gather feedback from your customers, and don’t just ask them if the product sucked or not, ask them why is sucked or what were they looking for that would’ve made the product better. Then once you receive the feedback, you base your features and benefit changes off the feedback, and then resell the product. Usually after doing so you’ll see a big difference in the customer response. If the response you receive still isn’t up to your satisfaction, then keep tweaking until it is.

You have a site, you bring in a good amount of traffic through search engines, affiliates, or whatever. Now you need to convert the traffic. Easier said then done, right?

The secret to conversion or converting the traffic into real dollars is tweaking. You have to tweak everything, you have to tweak your banners on your home page to what gets your audience to react most. You have to tweak your sales page, tweak the headlines, tweak the offer, tweak the body of the sales page and test to see what combination gets the best results.

I've been receiving a lot of questions about Google Adsense lately. Yes, Google Adsense can be a great way to make money if you have a niche site that brings a lot of traffic. Usually the best sites for Google Adsense are sites that provide informational content on a niche subject. If the content on the site is good, a huge traffic following could start, thus allowing more page views for the Google Adsense Ad located on the web page, which then translates into dollars and cents. The more traffic your site gets the more cents you are awarded.

Sites that recieve less than 1000 visits a day are not worth putting Google Adsense Ads on, because the money per impression will take a number of days for you to make some substantial cash. A person with such a site would probably be better off putting up some affiliate ads that are related to the niche of the site and collecting commissions that way. They probably would collect more in commissions with the affiliates ads than using the wide range Google Adsens Ads.

In conclusion, Google Adsense is a great way to make a little extra money off of your content filled site, but if your content filled site doesn't receive 1000 visits a day or better, then don't waste your time, you probably could find some affiliate ads to run on the site and make more money through the commissions.
