I've been receiving a lot of questions about Google Adsense lately. Yes, Google Adsense can be a great way to make money if you have a niche site that brings a lot of traffic. Usually the best sites for Google Adsense are sites that provide informational content on a niche subject. If the content on the site is good, a huge traffic following could start, thus allowing more page views for the Google Adsense Ad located on the web page, which then translates into dollars and cents. The more traffic your site gets the more cents you are awarded.

Sites that recieve less than 1000 visits a day are not worth putting Google Adsense Ads on, because the money per impression will take a number of days for you to make some substantial cash. A person with such a site would probably be better off putting up some affiliate ads that are related to the niche of the site and collecting commissions that way. They probably would collect more in commissions with the affiliates ads than using the wide range Google Adsens Ads.

In conclusion, Google Adsense is a great way to make a little extra money off of your content filled site, but if your content filled site doesn't receive 1000 visits a day or better, then don't waste your time, you probably could find some affiliate ads to run on the site and make more money through the commissions.

Social Network Marketing has been the latest craze in the internet marketing industry, but I personally don’t think it’s very effective. Yes you can collect lots of people on your friends list, but when it comes to reaching your quality target market, Social Network Marketing just doesn’t cut it, you end up getting a lot of window shoppers instead of real quality buyers.

At Traffi-inc.com we have been testing Social Network Marketing on one of our portfolio sites for about a year now, and yes we have many new friends and contacts, but the conversion ratios that come off our Social Network marketing have been very small. This proves our hypothesis that you receive many window shoppers and very few actual real buying customers. We will continue to test Social Network Marketing on some of our other portfolio websites in various industries to see if the results are industry specific. As for right now search engine marketing and opt in email marketing still remain king in the internet marketing industry. You should be doing all of these things to strengthen your business presence right now, so that when the economy recovers and people do start to feel like spending money freely again, your business will be recognized as an authority because of all your constant marketing in the good times and the bad.

In conclusion, remember just because the economy is slow doesn’t have to mean your business growth should be slow, this is the time when your business growth development should flourish the most in preparation for the sunny days right around the corner.
